| Wow, it's been a long time since I've done any updating. My new daughter has been keeping me very busy. I had an awful pregnancy, but the labor and birth went very well. We've named her Mai, which is Japanese and pronounced liked the word "my." I'm surprised I ever had a child, since when I was growing up I sort of decided I didn't want any. But have one I did, and I love her so much more than I ever thought I could. :) She's just too damn cute. Well, we also moved back to Utah to be closer to my family, so getting settled has also taken up a lot of my time. I'm just itching to get back to work on some of my own projects though. I hope that things will soon settle down enough for me to do so. :) |

So much for school... or a lot of the projects I was working on. My life's been put on hold for a bit, because... well, guess what? I'm pregnant for the first time! My husband and I are both very happy and excited about the fact, but I have never, ever felt so ill or physically miserable before in my life. At first I was in a lot
of pain, which worried the doctors, but the ultrasound and all the blood tests (my poor veins and bruised arms!!) they did turned
out fine. The pain is mostly gone now, but I've had really bad
all-day sickness for a couple of weeks and started to have the priviledge of experiencing my first migraines. Ah well. I've been trying most of the suggested home remedies for the nausea, and lemons seem to help a little. And this is supposedly going to ease up around week 14 or so.... hope I can survive that long. ;) |

need work, but the bulk of it is up now. |
